[KOREA] HOW TO MAKE KALGUKSU?


3rd recipe on my blog,
갈국수
KALGUKSU
korean cut noodle


What you need :
NOODLE
2 cup all purposes flour
1/2 cup corn starch
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1tsp oil

CHICKEN TOPPING
50 grams chicken
2 garlic
1/4 onion
1 tsp oyster sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil

BROTH
3 cups water
1/4 onion
1tbsb of soy sauce
5 tbsp fish sauce

ADDITIONAL
beansprouts
Slices leek
Sesame oil

1. Mix all noodle ingredients, knead this until become a great smooth dough. Sadly i dont have a roller so i use my bottle HAHA make it nicely thin and long dough, then fold it and spread some flour between the dough so it doesnt stick each other and cut in size you like.


2. Put some flour again

3. Boiled noodle in water around 2-3 minutes and put it in serving bowl

4. Mix broth ingredient until well bubbled

5. Bleach beansprouts and put on the noodle

6. Cook chicken topping around 6 minutes and put chicken on bean sprouts

7. Pour broth into the bowl

8. Put some slices leek

9. And sprinkle it with sesame seeds

10. TAADAA!

great simple menu right ♡ if you like spicy you can also put some gochujang ( korean chilli paste) and gochugaro ( chilli powder ) inside the broth. Have a try!

[KOREA] HOW TO MAKE RAPPOKI?

라뽁이
RAPPOKI
combination of ramyeon and toppoki


ingredients :
Oden ( korean fish cake)
Ramyeon ( korean noodle) 
Eggs
Cheese
Garlic
Onion
Leek
Soup:
800ml water with 5 tbs of fish sauce
or if you have lots of time you can use
Dashi stock ( seaweed / dried fish stock)
Seasoning :
1 tbs soysauce
2 tbs sugar
4 tbs of gochujang ( korean chilli paste )
1 tbs of gochugaro ( koran chilli flakes)
1 tbs sesame oil
Garnish:
Sesame seeds


1. Cut all your ingredients into pieces, and chopped garlic well

2. Mix soup with all seasoning except the sesame oil

3. Put slices toppoki, oden, onion and chopped garlic

4. After bubble comes, put the noodle in

5. After noodle is half-cooked, put the sesame oil inside

6. Sprinkle some leek

7. Put cheese on top

8. After cheese melting, turn off the heat

9. Serve it hot, you also can put boiled egg or cook the egg together after put noodle inside, sprinkle leek and sesame seeds as the last step

VOILA
It tastes even better than in tteokpokki town HAHA if the rapokki getting cool, heat it up. And if the soup is drained, put some hot water inside and add lil more seasoning.

[KOREA] HOW TO MAKE KIMBAB?

WELL first recipe in my blog!
Today i will share for you super easy popular korean dish, very suitable for breakfast or picnic time in Korea.
김밥
KIMBAB
kim = nori / dried seaweed ; bab = rice

what you need 
RICE ( seasoned with salt, pepper, and sesame oil )
 FRIED EGG
KIMCHI ( here i have octopus & cabbage )
CHEESE
YELLOW RADISH PICKLE
SESAME SEEDS

actually you can put anything you want as topping inside your kimbab LOL
1. Take a nori, put some rice, and spread all area
2. Put egg
3. Put radish
4. Put kimchi 
oh iya dried the kimchi first, if its too wet of its juice, its kinda hard to be folded
5. Put slice of cheese
6. Fold it tight but tenderly so dont broke the nori
7. Again
8. Fold till the end of the nori
( thats not bleed, my nori is broken because  IM HUNGRY so i did it toofast)
9. Press it again to make sure it totally wrapped well
10. Cut it into pieces with super sharp knife
( you can put some sesame oil on your nori / knife so makes it easier to be cut and not broke your kimbab )
11. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for better taste

I never thought it gonna be so easy 
Home made taste always better than in kimbab house
