what do you think? Well if compared with average travel agent trip its quite bit it HAHA with longer time and flexible itinerary and food as you like. Suprisingly compared to asia & australia that i've been America hotel is much much more expensive with less service like hot water kettle.
P.s if you out of budget here our tips
#1 WALK!WALK!WALK! their public transportation superrrr expensive, not bus nor train, its around USD 2.75-6 for a single trip
#2 try HOSTEL or coach surfing if you dare, america has tons of it but i cant do with because i came with my mom
#3 eat CHINESE or MEXICAN food because it's much cheaper than salad bowl and american food :p even fast food

After itinerary and all the money that we used now i will give you detail each city and some important travel tips to survive in America!
#1 BEST TIME TO VISIT
America is super huge land that even has so many dfferent time zone so well i can said october november is kinda the best time because it really chill everywhere, IF you go in summer ( JUL- AUG) It super hot in west coast like los angeles and if you go in Peak winter ( DEC JAN) Its freezing cold in east coast like newyork but chill in west coast. OCTOBER- EARLY DECEMBER is lovely weather and you can feel hint of thanks giving, black friday, and dust of christmas.
#2 VISA NEEDED?
You can check the inquiries here usually you can get multiple entries visa 5 years it called B1/B2 tourist visa, i applied long long time ago when i was in Korea, it cost around USD 160 im pretty sure here now also still same rate. Applying US visa can be tricky so make sure you prepare all document that they as and never book your trip before get your visa.
#3 MONEY
AMERICAN DOLLAR
Many money changer in tourist area but you can take money from the ATM. Small bills like 20,10,5, and 1 bucks is necessary for transportation deed. But mostly eat or shopping now they prefer cashless and so many deposit need credit card for car rent and hotel, better you have credit card with you better than cash.
#4 SIM CARD / LOCAL NUMBER
you can buy in the airport or local provider office. Depends on how many days you stay in America. Usually it priced around USD 10/day for unlimited data and phonecall. But if you go together with your friends better rent a wifi. I rent Wifi from Tokopedia cost me around IDR 80000 only /day and you can send it back after you done quarantine.
#5 GET FROM CITY TO OTHER CITY
Well they mostly use domestic flight like Jetblue, delta, american airlines for their national carrier, they dont really do train because yeah we know America is so wide. But for 2-3 hours city to city, they also has coach or bus. Mostly greyhound.
#6 GET AROUND CITY
Walking is the best and cheapest HAHA. Google map super helpful even here they have 3D display here. Almost all cities have bus, train, subway, and tram for sanfrancisco only but they just quite expensive starts around USD 2.75/ trip. So choose your transportation wisely! But for west coast, especially Los angeles, better you rent a car because their transportation is quite rare and not really reach some area of the city and its lovely to driving there because of the view and parking is quite easy compared to new york with traffic and narrow street.
#7 TRANSPORTATION CARD
EACH CITIES has their own transportation card so its cost consuming. If you just stay in single city for short time, think twice before buy it because actually direct pay with transportation card doesnt has big difference ( just around 20-50cents)

#8 EATING
For this "comfort" trip post, i hardly giving recommendation of the restaurant SINCE all western food just meh, but different city offer different local food later you can read more detail in every city post :) but please it's AMERICA land of junk food dont forget to try their junk food, like Mc Donald, KFC, pizza Hut, starbucks and my fav here DUNKIN DONATS omggggg in america their donats much better and cloudy soft not like in indonesia and they offer many coffee menu like starbucks!
#9 SOUVENIR!
Indonesian cant live without oleh2 like usually. So! Mostly is keychain and friend. America also famous with their processed food,So many big supermarket like Target in the city or go out side the city abit for big chain like Walmart and cost co. For basic souvernir like keychain or magnet cost around USD 4, T-Shirt around USD10 dont buy if its more expensive.
