[JAPAN] FUKUOKA: DAZAIFU SHRINE

Visiting japan is not completed without big shrine right HAHA actually i am not a big fan of historical place especially... temple and stuff but yeah once in a lifetime while visiting fukuoka. Actually this shrine is located out of fukuoka city so like bekasi HAHA you need taking a bus around 45 minutes until you reach Dazaifu area

DAZAIFU SHRINE

HOW TO GO
taking a train or bus get off at Dazaifu St. Stop
If you take a bus from Hakata bus station. 1st floor at gate 11
They has direct to Dazaifu or via Airport
(But it doesnt really matter)
Japan, 〒818-0117 Fukuoka-ken, Dazaifu-shi, Saifu, 4 Chome−7−7番1号
Just around 10 minutes walk from Station you can see the shrine itself. Quite big with park, small bridges and fish pond. But compared to shrine in Tokyo, and kyoto hmm it is okey but not really amazed me.

You can buy lucky or love charm HAHA #ew or drinking shrine pure water from the mountain (HAHA kidding i dont know where it is coming from) but i just washed my hand because i saw some stupid chinese tourist put... their .... foot... almost.. inside...the pond.. #SUPEREWHHHH

And so easy if you want to go back to Fukuoka just take bus or train from the station you arrived at. And typical Japanese attraction along the way to the main attraction there is always full of street food, souvernirs, and cafes dont forget to check out one famous famous starbucks in Fukuoka area

[JAPAN] FUKUOKA: YUFUIN & BEPPU ONEDAY TRIP

So many small cities around in Fukuoka but i put this as #1 MUST VISIT CITY WHILE VISITING FUKUOKA. I firstly found this on insta but i went there and saw my own even more beautiful than picture. It super small yet tidy and super clean, totally looked like in a picture. This city is famous with onsen or hot spring, so many people comes here and stay about 2-3 days for enjoying the nature. BUT BUT here my post is for NO TIME & SUPER BUDGET traveller HAHA so no onsen, tatami sleep, and hotel special japanese set dinner. Ok so lets get started!

YUFUIN & BEPPU IN ONE DAY

Firstly,
TAKE BUS FROM HAKATA ST. FUKUOKA TO YUFUIN.
From 3rd floor of bus station gate 34. Many people suggests me to book first but please all website in japanese so i fed up and i recommended you guys to JUST BUY DIRECTLY IN THE BUS STATION FEW DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE ( like me i bought 2 days before) and it takes around 2 hours until you arrive at Yufuin station.

Second,
ENJOYING BEAUTIFUL STREET & KIRINKO LAKE
From bus station to Kirinko lake takes around 30 minutes walk (1.5km) but it never feel far because you can enjoy cute shops along the street.

Third,
ENJOY YUFUIN SNACKS & CAFE
Not only shops, streets also filled by cafe and DESSERTSS, so yeah be diabetic HAAH i tried fresh grape fruit (¥500), ooeyy gooey melted cheese cake in a cup (¥160) and famous cremia GREENTEA SERIES icecream (¥450).

Fourth,
CATCH THE BUS TO BEPPU
you can see timetable below and adjust your schedule. I only spent like 3 hours in Yufuin and thought that more than enough. So i took 12.50 YUFURIN BUS to beppu. And if you see there are 2 bus here, Yufurin and Regular west beppu st. Actually these only have different stops. I chose YUFURIN because i gonna go to Umijigoku.

Fifth,
ENJOYING BEPPU'S HELLS
after 1.5 hours i arrived right in front of UMI (sea) JIGOKU (hell). If you dont know, Beppu is super known as THE CAPITAL OF HOTSPRING IN JAPAN so this city full of vulcanic natural water and also famous with their HELL? Or super hot water pond thats why it called hell? HAHA actually has 7 hells in total but for you who doesnt have lots of time i suggest you thos UMIJIGOKU (entrance fee ¥400) as it is the prettiest among all.

Sixth,
FREE FOOT SPA
you can also enjoy free foot hot spa, can we called hotspa? HAHA but i doubt it must be super crowded on winter because cold meets hot must be super fantastic not like me, summer time and foot dippon super sweating....

Seventh,
HOT SPRING STEAM LUNCH!
they also sell food made by hot spring steam and suprisingly good. Recommended: Egg pudding (¥300), eggs (5 for ¥300), and dumplings (¥600).
After that you can catch the bus back to Fukuoka. From umijigoku take local bus to Kitakama bus station and for your info NO BUS STATION at all. You can wait right infrontof Starbucks- Tokiwa mall beppu and the bus back to Fukuoka will depart from there. And here Tokiwa mall address.
Japan, 〒874-8558 Ōita-ken, Beppu-shi, Kitahama, 2 Chome−2−9−1
