  3. Love the photos! Thanks for blogging about this. I've been searching for tips on how to get to this place. I'll be in Seoul this April, and I'm planning to go to on either April 21 or 22. I'll be going solo (scared, but excited, haha!), so I'm getting as much information as I can. Question: how do I get back from Taean Tulip Festival to Seoul?

  10. Hi. I'm planning to go to Taean Tulip Festival this coming May 9, I was wondering if there are stopovers with the intercity bus from Seoul Nambu Bus Terminal to Taean Bus Terminal or just a straight 2 1/2 hour drive? Thank you.

  11. Thank you for this blog. I followed in your footsteps exactly after 1 year on 3 may 2017 and all info you gave are still valid. Below is my actual trip timeline....
Wake up and left home at 7am from jongjia.
Reached Nambu bus terminal at 8am.
Took tickets 9000 won to taean at ticket counter by paying cash. The bus frequency on 3 may 2017(holiday of Buddhas birthday ) was once in 40mins.
Bus to taean started at 8.40am.
Reached Taean around 11.30am. I went to ticket counter and asked for bus tickets to tulip festival.
Took tickets to tulip fest 1500 won.
Took Local village bus to tulip fest at 11.40am.
Reached fest bus stop at 12.10. On the way to fest from bus stop there was no sign post or direction. Hence took a wrong route roamed for some time and reached venue at 12.45.

I was there till 4pm. Then came back to same bus stop by walking for 1kms from venue. Came back by same bus by which I went. Reached home around 9pm.

Note: I didn't had any Korean sim. Hence no internet connection. Thanks to cached maps in google map, kako map and this blog by which I was able to verify am I in right path or not.
