[KOREA] 익선동 IKSEONDONG, JEWEL IN THE CITY CENTER

Sometimes i wondering why Korea always offers something new and hype even this country can be said SMALL. Like this post, i quite confused, why suddenly this area become super hype out of nowhere ( or just me? ㅋㅋ). As you know, usually Jung-gu area pretty traditional cafe street famous with Samcheongdong or Insadong but for me IT MUCH PRETTIER THAN THOSEEE it like a small complex of hanok but fulls by cafe and restaurant. I doubt nobody hates this ♡ so here in this post, i will share with you some my beginner shots and some hype recommendations

[Left] 식혜아이스크림

SIKHYE korean rice drink ICE CREAM

It cute like soap!! It tasted exactly like sikhye, sweet and yummy but it doesn't really taste like icecream more into sorbet texture.

TASTE 8/10

[Right] 비엔나커피

VIENNA COFFEE

strong bitter refreshing coffee with quite heavy cream on top, not the best that i've ever tried again but okey

OVERALL it super fascinating to explore around ikseondong area, it small and tight HAHA so make sure to come here on weekday OR you just can pass the way

[KOREA] 성수 어니언 ONION CAFE, SEONGSU

Sometimes i craved to try new coffeeshop but i am scared spending my money for nothing taste delicious. And after long time, i just visited one of super famous instagrammable cafe with design looked like old unfinished house in Seongsu-dong.

Pangdor one is kinda pound cake with sugar powder on top SUPER OVERRATING HOEK just regular pound cake :/ but the other pastry is ok but also yaaa lil bit overpriced i felt like i pay only for photos

Everything just too watery for me AND actually mine is greentea latte they even didnt make it from powder, they made it before and just heat it up wtf!

*CHEONGDAM CAFE ALERT*

nobody doesnt know baskin robbins that usually famous with its "31" flavours. It is totally be my top favorite since i moved to Korea compared to Haagendazs because i can find the store everywhere and also less sweet than Baskin robbin's indonesia. And lately, they opened new store with a new concept instead of 31 it became 100 flavours store ( but actually not really 100 flavours HAAH) it more into high end fancy looked icecream store with more variety of not only icecream, but also cakes and coffee. Located in Cheongdam area right across YG entertaiment makes it more fancier.

SUPER GEWDDDDD brownies texture is more into cake but chocolate fudge on top and marshmallow just stold my heart ♡ super good because they use dark choco so not too sweet and balance the chocolaty with vanilla icecream ( you cant change icecream flavour for this set)

just regular chocolate cake totally the same ingredients with brownies but less fudge

Super hard to be cutted Vanilla icecream layer- chocolate icecream layer- cookie based and chocolate ganache glaze. Super yummy too! Better than only choco cake

SUPER LOVE with their new concept, super pretty and confusing also because too many cute cake and new flavours to tried. You can also order using ipad near the ice cream area. Dont forget to put this special baskin robbins while you are in Seoul.CIAO!
