[JAPAN] HONSHU: OSAKA FOODVENTURE

OSAKA FOODTRIP

as osaka known as heart of japanese food so many recommendations that can you can try randomly here. Mostly takoyaki and okonomiyaki that i thought kinda mainstream and kinda pricey, because when you go to Okonomiyaki restaurant every person should order 1 and each around ¥900yen for a big bunch of grill flour, i don't think its worth it. So i took out any okonomiyaki recommendation from this post HAHA because i didnt eat any of it. So here some random things that i ate in osaka!

TAKOYAKI

All along shinsaibashi you can easily find tayokai everrrrrywhere and i thought all has pretty similar taste as long as it still hot haha and BECAREFUL burning hot inside

SLOW COOKED RIBS RAMEN

Randomly choose this local ramen shop and dont even remember the name. I just googled it when i wanna post this HAHAAHAH actually this ramen shop is good and the slow cooked ribs is amazing BUT sometimes i expect like sweet savoury taste in my ramen and it has 0 sweetness in it so i felt lil bit boring when eating this HAHAA but dont get me wrong, i love it

¥1000~1600/set with rice 

My best meal in osaka HAHA i just fall too deep into kyukatsu. And here their salad sauce is crazyyyyyt sourly refreshing. Here you can ask more cabbage for your salad and i thought it is an important thing since eating beef can be nauseusing? Am i right this word?

Actually you can find many branches around osaka not only on the street but also inside dept store. Well taste good and the bun is so fluffy but if you compare it with indonesian-chinese dumpling and bun of course nothing can beat it HAHA

Me and my boyfie randomly chose this as we get sick of yoshinoya and looked at the menu butter on beef bow looking very interactive but unfortunately it tasted so-so more to salty side, maybe because of butter? Not sure but their kaarage worth to try!

LOCAL BREAKFAST

Google it hundred times and still couldnt find the name grrr

well super randommmmm place from google with suepr unique interior ful lof random stuff hangin here and there. Serve manual brew and just great homr coffee and some light breakfast like toast and croisant sandwich. Superrrr good omg not only unique ambience but for the taste simple but classyyyy

WESTERN BRUNCH

West wood bakers

Fancy daily breakfast or brunch cafe. Quite pricey but worth it with its quality of dish. I ordered french toast with crispy bacon woaaaa speechelss ooeeye gooey french toast with crispy bacon and sweet maple syrup boom! No wonder people already queues since early mornin

Cafe level of fast food. Many variety of muffin and bakeries,great coffee blend and some cute merchandise, goodie bag maybe?

Last but not least my top coffeeshop everywhere i go. The one in Dotonburi is lovely located near T-juction of dotonburi and has 2 floors so make it super pewe to just chil land watching people from above!

[JAPAN] HONSHU: OSAKA MUST VISIT + TRANSPORTATION

OSAKA

Honestly i love tokyo much more than osaka HAHA because lots to offer than here but ya universal studio the only thing you shouldn't miss. But here some "must visit osaka" places and my honest review.

HOW TO EXPLORE IT 

so many transportation passes, only for osaka city or passes that also connect to cities around it, like kobe, nara, and kyoto. But we personally bought all single subway trip. Because we found out that there is no pass that including Universal studio line and mostly sell with high price (bcause we didnt take public transportation more than 3 times a day so we thought it was not worth it) but if you know one, you think it cheap, you can share it in comment seoction :3 

BEST PLACE TO STAY

umeda, namba, shinsaibashi tons of area that you can choose here in Osaka since it as "city" as tokyo. But we personally chose shinsaibashi area since we mostly did nothing just eat eat eat HAHAHA yet most touristy.

How to go: Namba station ( Subway/JR)

If i can compare with tokyo, here's like akihabara, you can find mostly anime stuffs and we also found some hentai comic store HAHAAHAHAHA weirdoooo. Some shopping malls and you can also snacking at Kuromon market. Famous traditional market in osaka. They even sell some fresh seafood and some hot foods ♡

how to go: Yosheubashi station (subway)

Hype beast areaaaa influenced by american. So here you can buy you limited stuff supreme, bathing ape and blabla that we hate HAHA we just ate brunch here but the ambience of the area was super lovely ♡

can be said as heart of osaka, where you can find all touristy stuffs, glico man, house of pablo, riding a boat along the river and FOODS

Last but not least, the thing you can never skip. Who doesnt love theme park?

THATS ALL places that i've visited in Osaka. Super lovely and perfect IF there was not a huge storm hitting osaka hufff very traumatic Haha
