[OZ] CHILL BRISBANE

Finally i made it to Aussie, KANGAROO!

BRISBANE

Well well queensland state offers you so much when it comes to Australian wild animals. They the only State that allows you all visitors to hug and direct contact with Aussie best animals. Anyway, despite of Animals, Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, has so many beautiful sides of city. Divided into 2 area by Brisbane river, Northbank and South bank, it's very interesting to discover the city not only by Buses but also with ferries. So here we go!

TRANSPORATION
In Queensland state, you can grab a special transportation card name GOCARD. That easily can buy at Mart or bus station for around AUD 10+ And you can top it up also BUT no day pass special for this card. Mostly they mix transportation between bus and ferry ( no tram here) transporation cost around AUD 3-4/oneway.

ACCOMODATION
 SOHO hotel
I suggest you around Roma street or Central station, since it's the main area that will connect you everywhere and even transit point for mostly all buses, Me and my mom love the hotel but it located uphill so not recommended for you who bring elder people. Tiring up and down the hill.

MUST VISIT
#1 NORTH BANK CITY CENTER
Can be said the heart of Brisbane, where you can do city tour, Brisbane city hall, ANZAC monument, King George statue, Beautiful Central station, everything here from traditional to Modern building here, i thought it must suits you all, historical sides lover.

#2 QUEEN STREET MALL
Beside all beautiful historical sides, you also can enjoy not only Queen plaza, boring with indoor shopping mall just go out and you can enjoy car freezone street for just chilling, having great brunch or quick MCD grab!

#3 SOUTH BANK AREA
Moving south, you can find pretty skyscrapper landscape with a huge "BRISBANE" from Kurilpa Park point. When i was here, they held huge France Cultural Event, selling France food, free wine testing. I don't know event calendar here, but even without any event, the park point already very beautiful by itself. uh uh ! you can also ride a ferrish wheel or do gallery visit because it has Gallery of Modern art <3

#4 LONE PINE KOALA SANCTUARY
Finally time for wild liffeeeeee! HAHA cray so so so We bought the ticket on the spot from machine cost AUD42/person, SUPER EXCITIINGGGG imagining holding this fluffy koala in my arm, well then we went around and bought Kangaroo snack for AUD2/bag (quite alot tho) and feed kangaroos, laid on the park with kangaroo and etc etc and we headed to Koala area, WE HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR KOALA HUGGING :( break my poor soul HAHA AUD 25/person photo and one printed pro photo :') hikkkkkk so i decided to shut it down :( shut my hope down to hug this fluffy creature. But the visit totally worthed it. The sanctuary is huge and you can also found so many other wild aussie animals, like tazmanian and etc.

btw i attached below bus timetable to/from Lonepine - city center (Queen plaza) hope it useful for you!

#5 EAT STREET NORTHSHORE
It's not complete without visiting SUDDEN MARKET tai dah han (a.k.a pasar kaget) in every city in Aussie HAHA and this one is special becusae they only
OPEN EVERY WEEKEND ( Fri/Sat 4PM-10PM,,, Sun 12PM-8PM)
At first, i thought hemmm it just okeyyy AUD 3/person? For visiting market, well i am a cheapskate. But then after entering the gate prok prokiiiii the decoration about everything just too instagramable! prettttyyyy divided into so many sections, Japanese, mexican, chinese. Not like weekend market, It is more like youth food market. 90 persent of it foods i think, and just few of them, selling accesories or stuffs.
Mostly the food price around AUD 15+/ heavy meal, AUD 10/ snack and AUD 7/drink. Well still okey and reasonable ;) me and my mom tried huge grilled beef on rice ( AUD 15), Crispy pork belly (AUD12), and Fresh oyster ( AUD 10) and all beyond my expectations, suprisingly very tasty on my taste bud.

And once its dark, ALL NEOOONN LIGHTS just zuper pretty <3 so just enjoy the night very recommended.

Well...wel.. well. Brisbane blew my selfaway, i just thought it so so at first but actually it just slow and very lovely at the same time, If you have enough time and stop by Goldcoast, you can drive here 1.5 hours away and spend few nights it gonna be woooorth it .

NEXT, our journey was taking a night bus from Roma street bus station by Greyhound and 17 hours later we arrived in SYDNEY! so stayyyy tune!

p.s this loooong night coach, was very convenient! It has few stops, 2 times if i am not wrong. like in a suburb gas station with MCD HAHA and the bus has full wifi and USB charger. and you can really sleep well because the seater is huge, check out for more route here
