EATING IN A JAIL AT BONG KOPITOWN BATU TULIS

Hello!!! Long time no blogging ... Huff it's like my passion is gone for a while. Last week, I finally tried a restaurant with a motto "Happiest jail on earth", BONG KOPITOWN. It has opened new branch in Batu Tulis area about 3 months ago. I love love the concept so totally jail with cubical jails, waiters with stripes shirt, and how they served the meals, they use Prisoner's plate HAHA cute. The waiter is so friendly but not too smart to give you the recommendation and explanation about the meal. But i didn't care about it since when they gave a menu and I saw the menu is so cool! haha Like a newspaper with old fashion paper looked and some stories about the restaurant. And after ordered, about 15 minutes, they were coming! Eating, eating,eating!!!

CURRY PRATA LARGE IDR 25K

for this appetizer it comes with 2 sizes, the small one with only ayam suwir and the large one with a whole chicken drumstick. The curry is quite yummy, but it tasted more like lontong sayur than curry HAHA and for the prata is weird. They must be make it homemade instead of using a frozen one.

PENANG FRIED NOODLE IDR 32K

love the texture of the noodle, very chewy and "big". For overall taste is ok but not as wonderful as it looks

NASI GORENG PENJARA SEAFOOD IDR 28K

RECOMMENDED! love love it!  it looked like ifumie but changed with rice, doesn't it? The rice tasted buttery and lovely. The topping on top is quite tasteless but yummy with some prawns, meatballs, and cabbage.

CHAR KWETEAU IDR 27K

totally sucks and far from how char kweteau must be looked. And quite pricey for only like kweteau and some vegetables

Yinyang Cold is the perfect combination of coffee, tea, and heavy milk, tasted so yummy and not to sweet. Iced Lemon tea is standard. Avocado Chocolate is too so sweet and it tasted more like avocado with "susu mental manis cokelat" HAHA

Overall, for me I prefer the drinks, cozy place for spending time with friends while chitchat but for heavy meal, I just don't like it at all. Sorry for being too honest with this post PEACE

NIGHT SNACK AT QQ KOPI TIAM PLAZA INDONESIA

well...... and still my tummy still hungry and we found something light, my favorite kopi tiam, QQ KOPI TIAM. But because ( honestly ) I already full, I didn't order my favorite kopi-o-peng ( ice americano ) :""( Now, after QQ moved to new place ( the old place now become the skin food across the new one ) they have better decoration because of bigger place. It feels like back to 80s era, with vintage floor, street lamps, meramic walls. QQ divided into two, smoking and non smoking area. If we sit in the smoking area, we can see Bundaran HI and Pullman Hotel, but because that day the smoking area was full so i sat i non-smoking area ( i'm not a smoker bu i loved sit in smoking area because of the view ).
