After 2 years ago, doing ice fishing, this year i suddenly missing ice fishing again and as i dont know also will i still here till next year? who knows HAHA so me and 2 friends decided to go on an ice fishing trip again but this time, we missed HWACHEON FESTIVAL because it ended at January 28th. so as we browsed we found other one and quite famous also located in Pyeongchang but the only minus point is the entrance fee is more expensive but yeah we gave it a try! and hope this can be reference if you still planning to do ice fishing around February.

HOW TO GO

Take bus from Dong Seoul Terminal to 진부 jinbu bus terminal\

Travelling time : 2 hours drive

Bus timetable : every 30 minutes 

Ticket bus price : ₩13000/one way

and than from Jinbu bus terminal just take a walk around 15 minutes till the festival area

ENTRANCE FEE

Single regular fishing ₩13000

Fishing with tent (fancier) ₩25000

Ice activities ₩6000/game

PACKAGE

Single regular fishing+ 8 ice activities ₩30000

Fishing with tent (fancier) + 8 ice activities ₩35000

All Ice activities package ₩22000/game

P.S : I suggest you us package much more cheaper and not really expensivd for all of those.

ICE FISHING

 Firstly, for equipment i already had it since the last time ice fishing but if it is your first time, you can buy it near the ice fishing area entrance around ₩6000 (twice more expensive than hwacheon). suprisingly fishing area here is super wide and foreigner or local all gather in the same area. But to be honest, fishing here is super hard because the size of  fish is bigger and till bit hard to catch by plastic fishing pole. and the cutest thing you can see ahjussi bring a liftcar with fish to refill to the area HAHAHAHAHA everytime car coming, all will move hole near where ahjussi put fishes. and every person just can take max 2 fishes

P.S : I DONT GET ANY FISH TILL THE END AND THANKS TO HANDSOME AHJUSSI WHO CATCHED 10 FISHES AND GAVE US 3 OR WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY LUNCH

GRILLED CENTER

After catching fish, you can directly eat your own fishes. Whether it grill or sashimi, all same price ₩3000/ fish. They also sell some 반찬banchan or side dishes like 쌈ssam or vegetable for wrap and some sauces like 고추장gochujang or korean chilli sauce and some soysauce for ₩2000. Inside also you can find some korean typical festival food, like tteokpoki, soups, and ramyeon.

Trout fish totally tasted like salmon with reddish color meat. They just seasoned it with salt on fish skin so you can't really eat the skin because super salty but fish meat SUPER GEWDDDDDDD no fat no guilty feeling even i ate almost 2 fishes LOL

PLAY TIME!

Done with lunch and some breaktime, now time to play with snowwww <3 super excited and actually this the best part of this trip! WOO HOO going on weekday just never false. No people No queue! hihi paying for all you can play ticket is super useful, you can ride all till die HAHA i didn't really know if we can ride all many times or just because no other people so we can ride it as many times as we want.

Overall, super fun!! recommended but if i could catched some fish my day must be completed :( hikkkkkk!! just pretended i was not really lucky that day HAHA if you have schedule visiting Pyeongchang olympic don't forget to come here also because they located in the same area :)
