KOBE ONE DAY TRIP

KOBE? KOBE? what's come first in your mind when you heard Kobe? Beef! Right luxurious kobe beef. But suprisingly, Kobe city is one of city that i loved. It just so lovey, not so crowded and modernly beautiful but too bad that day (because of storm) it was raining all day long so it's quite hard to enjoy the trip since i used umbrella HAHA but here it is! My kobe trip 

TRANSPORTATION TO KOBE

Just take regular train from osaka station or namba station to Kobe sannomiya station (around ¥320/oneway) it takes only around 30mins away

TRANSPORTATION IN KOBE

They has local train station or bus, but actually all places are quite close to each other.

MUST VISIT

#1 KOBE MOTOMACHI

It's like a long alley with shops along the way with canopy HAHA best way to avoid rain.

#2 KOBE CHINA TOWN

china town in Kobe is legit. I totally forget that we were in Japan HAHA so many tjings to see and street food! But becareful so many vendors sell unfresh food, ask for warm newly made stuff and its good! I recommend pork bun (¥500) its warm and the pork belly is super melting!

#3 DECK AREA

Super pretty waterfront area where you can enjoy kobe view as port city but too bad that time because of rain, it super foggy :( 

#4 KITANO IJINKAN

uphill area where famous with its cafes and unique bistro around. You also can find unique old american style starbucks dominated in green and white super instagramalbe place.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST

you are not in kobe IF you dont try famous kobe beef! but because we were backpacking, so we decided not too spend all of my budget on A5 kobe which the best class of meat that cost around USD 200/150Gram so after i browsed, i found this fakily restaurant very small and limited seat so you have to make reservation from their facebook.

Well its not A5 level because i felt like i'm not deserved eating that (a.k.a broke). So me and my boyfie tried A3 beef course cost around ¥5.200 or around IDR 700.000 for 160g beef and salad and coffee lalala. And . . . . .  :""" speechless already can't imagine A5. This steL already melting in our mouth and 160g actually far from " enough" for filling our stomach super wooortthh it the best steak cut i've ever eaten.

[JAPAN] HONSHU: MT FUJI ONE DAY TRIP GUIDE

MT FUJI TRIP FROM TOKYO

it's super common to do a trip to Mt fuji area while you stay in Tokyo. It can be done in 1 day or like us, we stayed for 1 nights here in a small hotel near by Kawaguchiko st. It was such a relaxing trip! No hectic day no too much people and also car. Unfortunately those 2 days were raining so we mostly saw Fog instead of Mt fuji ( it's a sign that we have to come back then ㅋ) and throw back long time before our trip, i searched so many ways and so many things to do in Mt Fuji and super confusing and ended up with a simple note of doing nothing BUT luckily, rain helped us to find some unique places that i've never been before HAHA 

TRANSPORTATION FROM/TO TOKYO

Instead of train, JR or whatever, we chose Bus from Akihabara station to Kawaguchiko station ( around 1 hour 30 mins drive) for 1800yen/person that we booked from here

TRANSPORTATION AROUND MT FUJI

Right at Kawaguchiko station, you can buy mt fuji loop bus ticket for 1500yen, pass that you can use 2-day-straight for exploring all tourist places around. For route map and timetable you can click here

WHAT TO DO?

well it is super questions since it has so many answers for it. Depending on the weather and time, you actually can explore so many places around mt. Fuji, but that day i had no plan so i just randomly chose some places that suprisingly beautiful!

FUJI NATURAL LIVING CENTER

well.. i was looking for mt. Fuji but it totally fogggyyyyy couldnt even see it but i found heaven around living center. I thought it just a "souvernir shop" but when me and my boyfie explored, it had beautiful garden and fog even made it looked misty yet pretty at the same time. And behind it has a small complex with cafes and some local shops. Totally recommended!

FUGAKU WIND & ICE CAVE

NAH this one was biggg suprise for me and my boyfie since we totally totally random decision to visit this place. It located far around 45 mins away from Kawaguchiko station. We was looking for ice in summer HAHA so actually here they has 2 cave, wind and ice. The one we visited, wind cave has easy tracking and also can sed ice at the same time. We suggested wind cave compared to Ice cave cause we just want a simple traking not a pro one that makes use exhausted. Entrance fee around ¥300/pax but it totally worthitttt ♡ it takes around 1 hours go and back.

CONVENIENT STORE

i think this is a must when it comes to Fuji area. When rainy and gloomy, you need something comforting. And TAA-DAA warm bowl of odeng? I dont know how to call it in Japanese. Soups with frozen balls HAHAAH bought this and some cups of ramen to the hotel and best spend ever HAHA

Overall, mt fuji one day or overnight trip is very recommended just for relaxing because sometimes spending too much time around cities also can be tiring ♡

WHO DOESN'T LOVE DISNEYLAND?

here in Japan as many people knows, they have the only Disney that own and manage not only by Disney corp. But by local, DISNEYSEA. with more adventurous rides and hugeee varieties of land.

HOW TO GO FROM CITY

Take any train to Maitama St., transit and buy other special disney railroad around ¥250/ way or ¥500/ onedaypass.

1DAY IS MORE THAN ENOUGH

If you can manage your time well, so i suggest you to start from west area to east. For some best rides, they provide Fast pass. Just scan your ticket at fastpass machine around the ride and fast pass ticket will come out with exact schedule when you can use it. P.S Fast pass only can use after you've done using the one ( so you can't take multiple fast passes in the sametime)

Can be said as the most famous ride in Tokyo Disneysea. You are inside an old hotel that destroyed by a black magic, and when you are taking the elevator up, it suddenly slam down! Super fun adn thrilling rode

Lazy of walking? Take skyway to cross the way from American waterfront area to Port discovery area and enjoy the view around from up.

#3 NEMO AND FRIEND SEARIDER (*FP)

For arabian coast and mermaid lagoon i found nothing special but if you bring kids, these r your best places to go.

it sell great indian curry and oh oh!! TANDOORI CHICKEN ♡

And around 8.30pm, we enjoyed closing ceremony because it's Disneysea you wont see disney castle dont forget. Usually big ceremony will held at Mediteranian coast. But it was super fun and festive!!

[JAPAN] HONSHU: TAKAYAMA 3 HOURS GUIDE

TAKAYAMA

Maybe you've heard about famous Shirakawa-go traditional houses, one of world heritage in Gifu provence. But have you heard about one beautiful city, Takayama? Capital and can be said as city center of Gifu provence. Small old town that offer you beautiful scenery and one of japan best quality of wagyu, hida beef.

I've been here before and i miss their street food so i asked my boyfriend if we could visit just a short visit here before we went to osaka.

TRANSPORTATION TO TAKAYAMA

You can use jr rail train or Bus from any bus station around Japan. But i took bus from Kawaguchi station to Takayama station and had 3 hours for exploring the city before continue my journey to Osaka.

From station or bus terminal, The old town just a walk distance around 1 km just follow google for the way :)

THE BEST BEEF SUSHI I'VE EVER EATEN. They torched the beef just for seconds so it can be said rare but it super melting when you put in your mouthhhhh super mouthgasm. You can also eat the serving plate because it made out of rice cracker. Price starts ¥600 but i order ¥1100 with 2 regular hida sushi + 1 quil egg hida sushi

#2 KIHACHIRO

3 Shimoichinomachi, Takayama-shi, Gifu-ken

Oen hours 10am~5pm

So before we tried hida beef in sushi form now in warm bun! If you come here on winter time it will taste 10x better haha. Price only ¥500/bun or ¥350 for red bean or black bean filling.

Overall takayama has not so many things to see but if you're looking for quite and chill city it is for you!
