[KOREA] CHEESE JJIMDAK MYEONGDONG

Yesterday after went home from 한국어교실, me and my friends had dinner in myeongdong, well it kinda very near so after korean class ( almost always) we go to myeongdong just walking around 5 minutes. Myeongdong super famous with many jjimdak ( korean chicken stew) restaurants, like before i had post about new andong jjimdak and now we just tried another one!

if you come from noon square or across lotte young just go straight till find 1st cross road, turn right you will find 30 cm icecream stall on the corner go straight again and see up ( that building i was pointing) that is the place!

i am not really sure about the name, the sign says it " NAEGA JJIM HANDAK" but when you get in the restaurant, all says "lamp" whatever it called, i don't care, maybe it's the previous store name

OMG OMG nothing can be wrong with melting cheese! Oeygoey melting cheese, meet super tender boneless chicken. Probably one of the best jjimdak i've ever had. Suprisingly, inside I found some mandu ( korean dumpling ) with i think pork and spring onion filling, cute & good. But i think this dish could be better if it becomes more spicy. And here also the 바찬 ( side dish) they give you radish pickle and cabbage salad which are very yummy and very refreshing after you eat muchmuch cheese.

Taste 9.5/10

I also saw there is 고주장찜닭 ( jjimdak in korean chilli paste), very great photo and looks very spicy. Let give a try next time! For you guys come to myeongdong, don't forget to try this!

Back to my comfort food,

JJIMDAK

last monday after course, me and my friends decided for having super late dinner (because it already almost 11 PM) near myeongdong. Since we were with handi and he doesnt allow to eat pork so we had chicken. 

I still remember this was the place where the first time i ate jjimdak and i fall in love ♡ the restaurant name is new andong jjimdak. Andong is the area name which jjimdak firstly made.

omg ♡ the taste is still the same when first time i had this. In my opinion, this one is more savory and tangy compared with one in hongdae.
