[KOREA] HONGKONG BANJUM 0410+


Korean food also influence by chinese (because they are one nation long long long long time ago ) so you can easily find some chinese restaurant in Korea. One of the most famous korean-chinese dish is JJAJANGMYEON, or KOREAN BLACK BEAN PASTE NOODLE. If you ask which is the best restaurant serves kor-chi food, well i dont really know because soooo many restaurants here. But there is one restaurant made by famous korean chef & food enterpreneur, BAEK JONG WON. Branches like everywhere but here I tried in Hongdae branch.

탕수육

deep fried pork slices with sweet sour sauce
₩9000 (소/small)
Best side dishes! Even small size, it is more than enough for 2. So crunchy pork and sour unique taste with veggie. They also serve it in Big size around ₩12000.

small bites! love filling inside but too bad outside is too oily 
Taste 8/10


짜장면
JJAJANGMYEON
black bean paste sauce noodle

wuuuuuuu i like this jajang! jajang paste taste is not that strong savory yummy and noodle texture is very lovely chewy.
Taste 9.5/10

black bean paste sauce with rice

BRILLIANT!! totally into me! jajang sauce is the same with noodle one but it serves with rice and topped with fluffy omellete muach! 
Taste 10/10


Overall, all the menu is delicious and the price totally reasonable with super big size. Gonna back for try their Jjampong ( seafood noodle soup ) and Bokgeummyeon ( fried noodle ). See you in next post!

[KOREA] JJAJANGMYEON


Another recipe post!
JJAJANGMYEON
korean black bean paste noodle, korean dish with chinese background. In seoul, not all restaurant sell this, usually they served in noodle house or chinese restaurant. Jjajangmyeon contains home made noodle, and top with black bean sauce with dices of pork, potato (잠자), and cucumber as last touch. And here my own version!


Ingredient :
Wheatbuck noodle
Black bean paste
carrot*
eggplant*
pork
Garlic
onion
Potato starch
Sesame seeds
* you can change all vegetable with whatever you like :3

1. Cut all into tiny similar size cubes

2. Boiled noodle around 5-10 minutes and drain water

3. Saute garlic and onion with lil oil, until it turns lil brown

4. Put pork and carrot, stir until it changes color

5. Put eggplant in

6. Pour 300ml water and black bean paste

7. After the water reduce around 15 minutes, put a tbs of corn stratch for thicken the liquid


8. Put noodle in a bowl 

9. Put generous sauce in 
10. Sprinkle some sesame seeds
